Used with threaded fasteners (for example a bolt and a nut), designed to increase the load distribution.

• Mudguard (penny) washers have an extra large outer diameter.
• Typically used to spread the tightening load over a greater area than a conventional flat washer.
• Bright Zinc Plate (BZP) finish offers resistance to corrosion.
